Our instant lawn is grown in rich, fertile black topsoil, thanks to the volcanic soils of Taranaki Maunga — some of the most nutrient-rich in New Zealand. This quality topsoil is key to establishing a healthy, vigorous lawn that looks great and stands the test of time.

Varieties

Dwarf Rye/Fine Fescue blend (available)

This premium seed blend creates a dense, fine-textured lawn that’s both versatile and attractive. Its durability makes it ideal for family use, while the finer grasses provide a soft, lush feel underfoot. Well-suited to a range of environments, it performs reliably in both full sun and semi-shaded areas.

Ultimate Tall Fescue (available)

This premium grass variety is known for its outstanding performance in a wide range of conditions. With its rich green colour, fine texture, and dense growth, it’s an excellent choice for home and commercial  lawns. It thrives in both full sun and semi-shaded areas, and its high disease and insect resistance helps maintain a healthy, long-lasting lawn. Ultimate Tall Fescue also provides excellent drought tolerance and bounces back quickly from wear and tear.

Second-Grade Tall Fescue (available) $10.00/m² pick-up – minimum orders of 50m²

Tall Fescue is a dark green grass with a broad, flat leaf. It forms a thick sward of grass that copes well in high traffic areas and is great for kids to play on. It wears well, has good drought and shade tolerance and is less susceptible to damage from insects and grubs. The dark colour and textured look work well in landscapes where a deep contrast is sought. Tall Fescue must be mown high (50-75mm) to maintain its premium condition.

Please note: This is our second-grade Tall Fescue, which means it may develop some weed grass growth. Only available while stocks last.

    Instant Lawn Prices

    Our instant lawn is sold in 1 square metre rolls measuring approximately 450mm wide by 2.2m long. Instant lawn is available for pick up from our shop at 63 Pohutukawa Place, Bell Block, New Plymouth. It can also be shipped to towns and cities around the North Island.

    Pick Up Information

    If you’re able to collect your instant lawn, our supply price is:

    $14.00/m² (including GST)

    Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice for all orders. Payment is required on or before pick-up. We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, and direct credit.

    Large turf orders are supplied on pallets. Each pallets holds approximately 50 square metres of instant lawn. A bond of $40.00 is payable for each pallet and will be refunded when the pallet is returned to us within three months. Please return your pallet during opening hours.

    For collection, you’ll need a trailer measuring at least 1.25m x 1.25m. Loads must be securely tied down, and your vehicle must be capable of towing the total weight. A full pallet can weigh up to 1 tonne in winter, and be sure to account for your trailer weight as well.

    Delivery Information

    We offer delivery of instant lawn to urban addresses in Auckland, Tauranga, Rotorua, Whanganui, Palmerston North, and Wellington at the following rates:

    $16.00/m² for 20m² or more
    $320.00 flat rate for orders under 20m²

    (Prices include instant lawn, pallet, delivery and GST – no hidden costs)

    We also deliver to other locations throughout the North Island. Outlying suburbs, towns, and rural areas may incur additional charges. To get an accurate quote, simply complete our Enquiry Form.

    Payment is required before your order is processed. Once we receive your order, we will send you an invoice for payment.

    Our instant lawn is delivered using large trucks. If your property has limited access or is located on a steep street, please let us know when ordering so we can plan accordingly. Failure to advise us may result in delivery delays.

    Please note that all instant lawn sales are final and non-refundable. Cancellations made after the lawn has been cut will incur the full charge. Our instant lawn is delivered in perfect, living condition, and from the moment of delivery, it becomes your responsibility to care for and maintain it.
